I can’t predict where publishing is going, but I do know that this is a book that deserves to be in the world for our future generation of young people who are grappling with questions of identity, trauma, and sexual orientation. Dysphoria is a book that matters to our youth, which is why I’m nominating it for the Harvard Extension School Dean’s Prize for Outstanding ALM Thesis in Creative Writing and Literature.
