Hi, my name is Nathalie (she/her) and my stage is an online classroom! I discovered my passion for teaching children in 2018 as one of the top requested ESL teachers at VIPKid. I’m excited to get to know your kiddo(s) and help them read and write in English or Spanish. My teaching style is warm, patient, creative, and fun!

Miss Nathalie began working with my daughter at the age of three. She quickly began speaking Spanish and would tell us all the names of animals, foods, colors, alphabets, and numbers. She would randomly say various phrases and our minds were blown at how quickly she was picking up the language. Miss Natalie knew that music moved our wee one, so she used music as a medium to teach her the language. Miss Nathalie is amazing!

For the last few months, Bria has been taking 30-minute Spanish classes online a couple of times a week with Nathalie. She’s literally the most patient, sweet, and gifted teacher. Introduction to English and Spanish

¡Hola! Here at Do It For The Kiddos Academy, we offer Spanish and English as a second language for beginners and Pre-K for native Spanish or English speakers. This course is intended to spark students’ interest in the Spanish language and culture. The curriculum is designed to encourage student output by making the teacher and student engagement fun! Miss Nathalie uses song, props, and total physical response (TPR) to create an interactive, memorable learning experience.

Students will learn the fundamentals of Spanish including the alphabet, the numbers up to 100, common greetings, vocabulary, and basic sentence patterns. Parents have the option to book ongoing lessons, multiple times a week. Private lessons are best suited for students looking to become bilingual. Group lessons are best for students looking to interact with other children in a foreign language. Some of the categories taught in these lessons include, but are not limited to, emotions, family members, common greetings, body parts, weather, days of the week, months of the year, animals, food, etc.

Plushy Pals Story Time & Reading

Does your kiddo have a favorite plush toy he/she/they takes everywhere? One of Miss Nathalie’s specialties is identifying and adapting to student behavior. Parents have expressed they appreciate when she adjusts her teaching style to each student’s personality, interests and learning pace. This Plushy Pals course is strongly recommended for introverted or unmotivated readers as it can increase their confidence and improve their public speaking skills. It’s also fun for extroverted students who love to put on a good show. Students in this course will learn how to use proper intonation and pronunciation while reading out loud.

We use reliable online sources for educators that offer an unlimited amount of virtual books for every grade level, such as Epic! and BookBox. The best part is, Do It For The Kiddos Academy covers the subscription cost! We only ask your kiddo be supervised in order to help classes run smoothly. If your kiddo feels they have outgrown their plushies, no problem. Nathalie’s teaching style is adaptable. She can ensure a fun and productive method of learning according to the student’s reading and writing level with a free assessment.

​By the end of this course, students will read fluently, use proper pronunciation, understand basic grammar, animate dialogue, use proper intonation, and answer comprehension questions in complete sentences with minimal assistance. And of course, we hope your kiddo leaves this course with a new found love for reading!
